Description
The Time-Sert 5588 Ford Triton triple oversized spark plug thread repair kit is an ADD-ON ONLY kit to be used in conjunction with the Time-Sert 5553 thread repair kit or the Time-Sert 5141E thread repair kit. The Time-Sert 5588 kit is a last chance thread repair add-on kit for the Ford 4.6 / 5.4 liter heads.
This spark plug thread repair kit will repair holes as large as 0.720 inches (18.2mm) by installing the special Time-Sert 55522 M18 x 1.5 internal diameter inserts, that will accept the 3/4 reach Big-Sert M14 x 1.25 inserts. Please note: The Big-Sert inserts are NOT included in this kit.
